We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit hamptonsconsulting.ai or engage us for consulting services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain English first, formal clauses where they matter.
01Who we are
This site and the consulting services offered through it are operated by Visual Country LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New York, doing business as Hamptons Consulting .AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy matters, we are the controller of your personal information.
02Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information collected automatically when you use the site, and information we receive from third parties.
Information you provide
- Contact & inquiry information — name, email address, company, phone number, and any other details you include when you email us, book a discovery call, or submit a form.
- Client engagement information — if we enter a consulting engagement, we collect information necessary to deliver the work, including business financials, marketing assets, brand materials, and internal documents you share with us.
- Payment information — for paid engagements, processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers).
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring site, pages viewed, time on page, and similar analytics data.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details on what we set and why.
Information from third parties
- Analytics & advertising platforms — Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook Pixel), and LinkedIn Insight Tag may provide us with aggregated or pseudonymous data about how visitors reach and use our site.
- Publicly available sources — we may review your public company information (website, LinkedIn, press) as part of evaluating a potential engagement.
03How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule discovery calls.
- Deliver the consulting services you have engaged us to provide.
- Send you scheduling, onboarding, invoicing, and project-related communications.
- Operate, secure, and improve the site.
- Analyze how the site is used (in aggregate) so we can improve the content and user experience.
- Send marketing communications — only where you have opted in or where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Comply with our legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your engagement materials to train artificial intelligence models.
04Who we share it with
We share your information only in the circumstances below, and only to the extent necessary.
- Service providers — companies that help us operate the site and run our business, including hosting, email delivery, scheduling, CRM, payment processing, and analytics providers. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we specify.
- Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and insurers, when necessary and under confidentiality.
- Legal & safety — if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this policy.
05Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, analytics (Google Analytics), and marketing attribution (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag). On your first visit we show a consent banner — you can accept all cookies or reject non-essential ones. You can also change your browser settings to block cookies.
For a full list of the cookies we set, their purpose, and their duration, see our Cookie Policy.
06Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (note: we do not sell personal information).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact form. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30 to 45 days).
07California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act. In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in Section 2 above, for the purposes described in Section 3, and we have shared it only with the recipients described in Section 4.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising other than through the advertising cookies you have consented to via our cookie banner. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of your sensitive personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
08Canadian residents (PIPEDA)
If you are a resident of Canada, your personal information is handled in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You have the right to access and correct your personal information, and to withdraw consent to its use at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions.
09Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Inquiry and marketing data is generally retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction. Client engagement records are retained for at least seven years after the engagement ends to meet tax and professional-records obligations.
10Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information — including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
11Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on the site. Your continued use of the site after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
